Cottrell Park Golf Resort

A popular addition to a Wales golf break, especially if staying in Cardiff. This 36 Hole Golf Complex opened in 1996 boasts two 18 hole courses, The Mackintosh and The Button Gwinnett.

Spanning 6,450 off the white tees, The Mackintosh Course is the longest of the two courses.  With mature trees up to 300 years old, the course was designed around the original features of the historic parkland. With four Par 5s, four Par 3s and ten Par 4s, the Mackintosh is a testing but enjoyable walk.

The Button Gwinnett Course stands 6,180 yards off the white tees. Based on an American design, the course features 13 lakes spread over 18 holes, and culminates in a fantastic finishing hole in full view of the club house. The course is a worthy challenge for all levels of golfers and is often dubbed the tricky but enjoyable course.
