The Beaufort

In the centre of Raglan Village, this 16th-century inn is close to the medieval castle, between Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny. It is a 15 minute drive from the M4 and well placed for the A40. It offers dining, good wines, real ales and free WiFi.

The stylish en-suite rooms have Egyptian-cotton sheets and goose-down duvets. There are flat-screen TVs, bath/body lotions and tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Many have country views.

The Spanish-influenced restaurant also serves a range of wines. Guests can relax on the terrace, enjoy a real ale by the fire in the bar, or use the conference facilities. A breakfast is served in the mornings.
