Your Hotel(s)

Morgans Hotel

Morgans is based in Swansea’s historic Maritime Quarter just 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre. This grade II listed building offers a restaurant and a stylish bar.

Morgans has two accommodation elements. On the one side is the main boutique hotel which is ideal for couples or those wanting to splash out on a double room for single occupancy. For those on a bit more of a budget then separate Townhouse is an ideal base.

The original building was a superb Regency house. All the rooms have a contemporary style with the highest quality of fixture and fittings expected of Morgans. Each room has hardwood floors, Egyptian linen, Goose down duvets and flat screened televisions.

The restaurant and bar facilities are located within the main Hotel. On-site parking is also available.

Langland Bay

Langland Bay Golf Club was founded in 1904. It sits high above the golden Gower sand on a cliff top clearly designed by nature with only one purpose in mind, breathtaking golf.

Although a relatively short course, Langland Bay will present the golfer with a full range of golfing tests. Small greens, plenty of bunkers and punitive rough will dominate your thoughts as you complete your round.

The finishing holes are particularly difficult starting with the aptly named “death or glory” 16th.

A great addition to any golf break or golfing holiday to Swansea.

Pennard

A must play on any Wales golf break to Swansea. Pennard Golf Club was founded in 1896 and is a course of long tradition, history and repute.  A classic rugged links course situated 200ft above sea level leading to it being known as “”The Links in the Sky””.

It is blessed with free draining ground, which remains playable all year round with tight lies, running fairways and firm fast greens. Designed by the great James Braid, the 14th is named after him. Holes with a stroke index of 5 or less will test your golf, endurance and thought process!

With views to take your breath away the course is equal to any links around the coast of the UK. It is a real gem.

Whatever your standard of golf Pennard is sure to please. From relatively straightforward par 4’s to unplayable holes into a head wind and gorse to the left and right.

Neath

Neath Golf Course dates back to 1934. I has the distinction of being designed by James Braid, 5 times British Open Champion.

The classic Braid design takes advantage of the natural landscape to create a superb golfing challenge. The heathland course incorporates trees, heather, and dry stone walls. With fine undulating greens it tests every asset a player has.

The turf is perfect for a golf course offering firm fairways and greens.

The fifteenth hole is one of the famous holes in South Wales. A 391 yard par 4, it is played from one side of a huge rock down to a fairway some 80 feet below. The tee shot is driving into pure sky.
